AtemporaryStudio’s investigative and proactive approach to initiatives combining the world of production with the realm of art and creativity has resulted in CARTEdition, a project – now a brand – that produces and promotes wallpapers by internationally renowned artists. Projects with a high cultural value to bring art into everyday living spaces – homes, hotels, and public projects – in a new guise: open, usable and dynamic.

Treated as a new medium for artistic research, and with a firm focus on innovative and sustainable manufacturing processes, wallpaper becomes a living, breathing expression of the dialogues and collaborations established over the years with artists.

Fabrice Hyber,Labinac (a collective founded by Jimmie Durham and Maria Thereza Alves, Kai-Morten Vollmer), Liliana Moro, Riccardo Previdi, Francesco Simeti, Donatella Spaziani and Patrick Tuttofuoco are the artists involved in the project to date. Prestigious figures from the international art scene are joined year after year by new names on the world stage to offer the general public visionary and imaginative ideas transformed into new creations.
